• Bespoke Equipment: We provide custom-designed body armour and combat suits in a wide range of sizes. Our equipment is adjustable and designed to accommodate various body types comfortably, ensuring every “young gun” and adult is well-protected.
• Mobility & Terrain: Our game zones are located in natural environments. Players should be comfortable navigating uneven bushland terrain, slopes, and natural forest floors.
• Safety First: For your protection, we must be able to ensure that our safety goggles and body armour fit correctly and securely. A secure fit is essential for maintaining our industry-leading safety standards.
• Inclusive Play: If you have specific concerns about sizing, mobility, or a medical condition, please call our booking office. Our team is experienced in assisting players of all backgrounds to ensure they have a world-class experience.

At Next Level Paintball, your comfort and safety are our highest priorities. While you may feel a slight “sting” similar to a quick flick of a rubber band, our industry-leading safety gear is specifically designed to minimise impact.

• Bespoke Body Armour: We provide custom-designed plates to protect the torso, significantly reducing the feel of any impact.
• Full-Body Combat Suits: Our thick suits feature integrated padded neck collars for extra protection in sensitive areas.
• Full-Head Goggle Systems: Unlike standard goggles, our systems wrap entirely around the head to protect the ears, temples, and face.
• Professional Marshalling: Our marshals enforce a strict minimum distance rule to ensure no one is shot from close range.
• Armoured Tactical Gloves: Highly recommended to protect hands and knuckles; these are available for purchase at our on-site shop.
• Pro-Tip for Comfort: We recommend wearing loose, layered clothing (such as gym wear) underneath your suit. This adds a natural buffer while allowing you to move freely.

No. For health, safety, and environmental reasons, only paintballs issued by the centre on the day of your event may be used.

• Quality & Safety: We ensure our paintballs are fresh and stored correctly to guarantee they break on impact. To maintain these safety standards, paintballs taken off-site cannot be brought back for use at a later date.
• Environmental Protection: To protect our local Australian woodland ecosystems, we exclusively use 100% biodegradable paintballs.
• Strict Prohibition: The use of external paintballs is strictly prohibited. This allows us to verify the storage conditions and ingredients of all paint used on our fields.

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own gear to the centre; however, all equipment is subject to the final approval and discretion of the Centre Manager.

• Paintball Markers: To use your own marker, you must hold a valid state-specific Paintball Marker Permit. We exclusively use .50 Calibre markers, and your equipment must pass an on-site chronograph test to ensure it fires below 300 FPS.
• Air Systems & Gas: For health and safety reasons, players are not permitted to bring their own gas cylinders. Markers must be compatible with our onsite air bottles (3000 PSI), which are refilled by marshals every 30 minutes.
• Goggles & Suits: You may use your own paintball-specific goggles and combat suits, provided they have not been modified and pass a safety inspection upon arrival.
• Paintballs: Only paintballs issued on the day of your event may be used. External paintballs are strictly prohibited for health, safety, and environmental reasons.
• Base Camp Safety: We operate a strict “No Markers in Base Camp” policy. When not in play, all equipment must remain safely racked in the designated Gun Zone.

We want every “young gun” at our centres to have a world-class experience. We take great care in managing our player groupings to ensure games are fun, fair, and safe for everyone.

• Age-Appropriate Matchmaking: Our standard practice is to separate children and adult groups to ensure a balanced competitive environment. We make every effort to match your group with players of a similar age and ability level.
• Family Groups: You may see adults on the field during a youth session if they are parents, guardians, or older siblings participating as part of the same booking. Many parents love sharing the experience with their kids!
• MiniBall (Ages 8+): Specifically tailored for our youngest recruits, MiniBall is the perfect way to ensure your child plays with their peers in a highly controlled setting.

  • Melbourne & Brisbane: Ages 8–14
  • Perth: Ages 8–11
  • Canberra: Ages 8–15
• Standard Paintball: This begins at the next age bracket immediately following the local MiniBall limit (e.g., 12+ in Sydney, 15+ in Melbourne). In Adelaide (Monarto), Standard Paintball is available from age 10.
• Professional Marshalling: All games are managed by highly trained marshals acting as active referees. They ensure all players follow safety protocols and that gameplay remains fair and exciting.

Yes. Paintball is extremely safe at Next Level Paintball. We maintain an industry-leading safety record through strict protocols and world-class equipment provided to every player as standard.

• Full-Head Protection: We provide goggle systems with a complete wrap-around design to protect the face, temples, and ears.
• Bespoke Body Armour: Custom-designed padded vests are issued to all players to significantly reduce the feel of any impact.
• Professional Supervision: Every game is managed by highly trained marshals who enforce strict safety rules and “no-fire” zones at all times.

MiniBall (Ages 8–15): The Ultimate Introduction
Tailored specifically for our youngest recruits, MiniBall offers the same movie-quality game zones with added comfort:

• Low Impact: Uses spring-loaded markers for a much softer hit.
• Lightweight Gear: Smaller combat suits and equipment tailored for children.
• Non-Stop Action: Our MiniBall packages include unlimited ammo for the duration of the session!
