We recommend that players wear comfortable, old clothing and to bring a change of clothes for the end of the day (personal belongings can be stored in our lockers which you can hire for the day). It’s strongly recommended that you wear walking boots with ankle support and a deep tread rubber soleas it can be muddy in the winter months. Some customers may choose comfort over safety and wear wellington boots. Armoured gloves can be bought from our onsite shop but you are welcome to bring your own. We accept PIN verified card payments however thesemay incur transaction fees so it is recommended you bring cash for any additional paintballs or food.
Do I have to fill out a registration form?
Every customer is required to register online before they can play paintball at our national centres. You will recieve a registration link which you can share with your group to register.
What about if it rains?
Paintball games go ahead regardless of any inclement weather conditions (except in very extreme circumstances, in which case you will be notified). The games take place outdoors but there are sheltered seating areas in the base camp. In wet weather players may also bring waterproof clothing to wear under their paintball overalls.
Am I allowed to bring my own equipment?
Players can bring certain items of their own to national paintball centres, but it is always up to the Centre Manager whether or not you can use it. You can bring your own goggles but only if they have been manufactured specifically for paintball games and have not been altered in any way. Players are unable to bring their own paintball gun to the centre unless a private game has been arranged and the gun can operate from the gas canisters provided by the paintballing centre. The use is solely at the discretion of the Centre Manager, and all paintball guns are subject to a chronograph test before use. We do not allow players to bring their own gas or bottles on site for health and safety reasons.
Is there food and drink available at the centre?
Almost every centre has an onsite shop where you can purchase a selection of refreshments and snacks.
Can I pay for my booking on the day?
No, unfortunately not. Every NLP Paintball centre has a limited capacity and player numbers need to be confirmed prior to the game day in order to organise equipment, catering arrangements, teams and the marshalling staff.
How far ahead do I need to book?
To avoid disappointment it’s best to book at least two weeks in advance as bookings are subject to availability. Your chosen centre and date may not always be available but you will be offered a list of alternatives to choose from.
