What happens to prepayments and paintballs if a player does not turn up?

We understand that plans can change at the last minute. While all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, we aim to ensure you do not lose out:

  • Credit Place for Future Use: If a player is unable to attend on the day, their payment value can be carried forward as a credit place on your booking profile. This credit can be applied toward a future mission at any of our national centres.
  • Paintball Allocations: Please note that any paintball allocations or equipment included in the package for a “no-show” player are forfeited on the day. These cannot be transferred to or shared among other players in your group; however, any paintballs included in that player’s package will be carried over with the credit place and held on your profile for future use.
  • Notification: If you know in advance that your group size has changed, please contact our booking office as soon as possible so we can update your profile.

Pro-Tip: To quickly process a credit place for a missing player, please have your booking ID, preferred game date, and the tracking number on your paintball tickets ready when you call our team at 1300 490 898.

What should I do if I have trouble finding the centre?

To ensure a smooth start to your mission, we provide several tools to help you find our bushland entrances easily.
Being prepared with your directions ensures your squad arrives on time for the first safety briefing.

  • Use your Booking PDF: Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a map and detailed directions. We strongly recommend sharing this PDF with every driver in your convoy before you head out.
  • Sat Nav Caution: While GPS is handy, our centre entrances are often tucked away in natural bushland and can be easy to miss. Please cross-reference your Sat Nav with the specific directions in your booking pack to ensure you reach the correct gate.
  • Google Maps & Pin Drops: Many of our centres can be found by searching for the specific centre name in Google Maps. If you’re unsure, check your confirmation email for the most accurate GPS coordinates.
  • Live Support: If you’re having a bit of trouble finding us on the day, give our event coordinators a buzz on 1300 490 898. Our team can provide you with direct guidance to the car park to get you sorted.

National Pro Tip: Mobile reception can be “patchy” once you get closer to our rural bushland locations. We recommend downloading your map or taking a screenshot of the directions before you leave home so you’re not relying on 4G/5G to find the front gate!

I don’t have confirmed numbers yet; should I still book?

Yes! We recommend booking for your minimum confirmed players as early as possible. Our centres are among the most popular in the country, and session spots fill up quickly—especially on weekends.

  • Secure Your Date: Booking for your core group now ensures you don’t miss out on your desired date and session time. It’s better to lock in a slot for 10 “young guns” now than to wait for 20 and find the day is fully booked.
  • Add Players Later: You are welcome to add more players to your booking up until a few days before your event. Simply call our national coordination team to check equipment availability, and we will do our best to accommodate the extra recruits.
  • Stress-Free Planning: Don’t let a few “maybe” responses hold up the entire group. Locking in the confirmed players officially starts the countdown to game day and often encourages the rest of the squad to commit!

National Pro-Tip: Demand for our world-class game zones is high nationwide. We suggest booking for your “definites” today, then sending a “final call” to the rest of your group once the date is secured. You can manage any additions with a quick call to 1300 490 898.

Is there a weight or height limit for paintball?

At Next Level Paintball, we believe the adventure should be accessible to as many people as possible. While there are no strict height or weight restrictions, we recommend the following for your comfort and safety:

  • Bespoke Equipment: We provide custom-designed body armour and combat suits in a wide range of sizes. Our equipment is adjustable and designed to accommodate various body types comfortably, ensuring every “young gun” and adult is well-protected.
  • Mobility & Terrain: Our game zones are located in natural environments. Players should be comfortable navigating uneven bushland terrain, slopes, and natural forest floors.
  • Safety First: For your protection, we must be able to ensure that our safety goggles and body armour fit correctly and securely. A secure fit is essential for maintaining our industry-leading safety standards.
  • Inclusive Play: If you have specific concerns about sizing, mobility, or a medical condition, please call our booking office. Our team is experienced in assisting players of all backgrounds to ensure they have a world-class experience.

National Pro-Tip: If you’re unsure about equipment fit or terrain access at a specific centre, call our team on 1300 490 898. We are more than happy to provide further details on our equipment specifications to put your mind at ease!

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes. Free on-site parking is available, though spaces can be limited during peak periods. We strongly recommend carpooling where possible.

How long does a standard paintball session last?

A typical day is divided into two high-energy sessions: To ensure you get the most out of your experience, we run morning and afternoon sessions across 4–6 varied game zones with scheduled refreshment breaks.

  • Morning Session Times: Approx. 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (Winter: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm).
  • Afternoon Session Times: Approx. 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm (Winter: 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm).
  • Arrival Strategy: We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your session start time to ensure registration and safety briefings are completed promptly.
  • Booking & Support: For more details or to check availability for your preferred date, please contact our booking office on 1300 490 898 or use our Live Chat feature to speak with us online.

National Pro-Tip: Session times can vary slightly by location and seasonal light levels. Always check your booking confirmation for the exact arrival time at your chosen centre.

Does paintball hurt?

At Next Level Paintball, your comfort and safety are our highest priorities. While you may feel a slight “sting” similar to a quick flick of a rubber band, our industry-leading safety gear is specifically designed to minimise impact.

  • Bespoke Body Armour: We provide custom-designed plates to protect the torso, significantly reducing the feel of any impact.
  • Full-Body Combat Suits: Our thick suits feature integrated padded neck collars for extra protection in sensitive areas.
  • Full-Head Goggle Systems: Unlike standard goggles, our systems wrap entirely around the head to protect the ears, temples, and face.
  • Professional Marshalling: Our marshals enforce a strict minimum distance rule to ensure no one is shot from close range.
  • Armoured Tactical Gloves: Highly recommended to protect hands and knuckles; these are available for purchase at our on-site shop.
  • Pro-Tip for Comfort: We recommend wearing loose, layered clothing (such as gym wear) underneath your suit. This adds a natural buffer while allowing you to move freely.

Can we eat lunch at the centre?

Yes, you are more than welcome to eat at our centres.
To ensure your group stays mission-ready and energised, we provide the following facilities and guidelines:

  • Bring Your Own Rations: We highly encourage players to bring their own packed lunches and plenty of fluids. Staying hydrated is the tactical key to a great day on the field!
  • Lunch Timing & Strategy: To maximise your time on the game zones, we recommend that players save their main meals for after their paintball session. There are short refreshment breaks between games for quick snacks and water to keep you moving.
  • Sheltered Base Camp (Safe Zone): Every centre features a large, sheltered base camp with picnic seating. This is your designated safe zone where parents, friends, and players can relax and enjoy their food during or after game sessions.
  • On-Site Recon (Snacks & Drinks): Our on-site shops stock a selection of cold drinks, chocolates, and light snacks should you need a quick energy boost between missions.
  • Important Catering Note: Please note that we do not offer on-site catering (such as hot meals), pizza lunches, or food delivery services. Please come prepared with your own food supplies.
  • Celebrating a Birthday? You are more than welcome to bring a birthday cake to the base camp to celebrate with your group after the games are done!

Can parents or non-players watch the games?

Yes. While spectators are not permitted on the active game zones for safety reasons, we provide comfortable facilities for those not playing.

  • Base Camp Facilities: Our base camp features sheltered seating areas where parents and friends can relax throughout the day.
  • Meeting Players: Spectators can easily meet with players during scheduled breaks to catch up on the action.
  • Safety First: For the protection of all guests, non-players must remain within the designated base camp areas and are not authorised to enter the field of play.
  • Amenities: The base camp is designed to keep you comfortable and close to the excitement while maintaining a safe distance from the game.

Can I bring my own paintballs?

No. For health, safety, and environmental reasons, only paintballs issued by the centre on the day of your event may be used.

  • Quality & Safety: We ensure our paintballs are fresh and stored correctly to guarantee they break on impact. To maintain these safety standards, paintballs taken off-site cannot be brought back for use at a later date.
  • Environmental Protection: To protect our local Australian woodland ecosystems, we exclusively use 100% biodegradable paintballs.
  • Strict Prohibition: The use of external paintballs is strictly prohibited. This allows us to verify the storage conditions and ingredients of all paint used on our fields.
